Singing in the Rain

When major storms threatened to stop Parkapalooza 2019, did that slow down Easton Park!? NO! Well, maybe a little. While we weren’t able to put up our two big outdoor stages and tents, we didn’t let the weather totally rain on our parade. And lots of folks still came out to have a good time!

Instead of our traditional music extravaganza, we opened up our beautiful model homes to shelter everyone from the storms. Jonathan Tyler and Mr. Will serenaded guests with acoustic music sets, and Christine from Kiwi’s Party entertained kids of all ages with her waterproof balloon art. Everyone kept their strength up with snacks and sweets from The Cupcake Bar, Fancy Fluff Cotton Candy, and Cold Ones Pops, as well as with local beers and wines.

And there were still prizes! Deborah Leija won two tickets to Hotluck Festival’s Al Fuego, and Megan Hoklas won our grand prize giveaway valued at $2000—ACL Weekend One Tickets and a three-night hotel package.

Best of all, we’ve rescheduled Parkapalooza for July 27th when the amenity will be open (squeal!), so look for more information about bands, food, and excitement coming soon.
