Valentines Day in Austin!

Hey Easton lovers! Valentine’s Day is coming up in less than a week and we’ve got some ideas to help you make the most of your February 14, Austin style.

Try a New Restaurant

On Instagram, Coachbadassramon suggested that we go to Ramen Tat-su-ya on Comal, then get a drink next door before walking over to Prohibition Creamery for a boozy ice cream dessert. Yes please!

Go to the Drive In

If you can name a movie more romantic than the Princess Bride, we’ll spend a night in the Pit of Despair. Head to Blue Starlite Drive in for a showing of this classic fairy tale of pirates, sword fights and true love!

Serenade Your Love

More specifically, have Austin’s own Bob Schneider do it for you! See Bob and the Moonlight Orchestra featuring Tosca Strings play live at the ACL Live at the Moody Theater on Valentine’s night.

Laugh in the Dark

The Velveeta Room has a special Valentine’s edition of their glow-in-the-dark comedy show. Hit the Glow Show, and you can expect black lights, glow sticks, and trippy visuals.

Eat Chocolate, Drink Beer

Anyone can grab a box of chocolates—it takes a thoughtful valentine to get tickets to a truffle and beer pairing! Craft Pride on Rainey Street and Krystal from Intero have teamed up to create artisanal chocolates made specifically to pair with each craft beer in the flight. Your ticket also includes live music and Via 313 pizza for dinner.

Hit the Dancefloor

Dance cheek-to-cheek as you whirl around the Highball to music by the Copa Kings, playing big band standards from the 1930s, 40s, and 50s. There’s no cover, and The Golden Hour Quintet opens.

Parker Jazz Club - Jazz

Play Bingo Loco

What is Bingo Loco? Only the craziest, rave-iest bingo since a chicken pooped on a number. Expect dance-offs, conga lines, and the chance to win big—previous prizes have included trips to Vegas & Coachella, Instax cameras, crates of cans, a bathtub, convertible car, bags of rubbish, 8 foot teddy bears and even a boat.
